Believe it or not, in your rightly-sized corner of the world, you are
making news all the time. How often do those bits of publicity get
overlooked in the daily grind?
Possibly most of them if you don't know who your audience is. It's
not everybody. You can't reach them. They don't care and you couldn't
handle them all if they came by.
Who needs to hear from you more often? Your customers. The people who
get it because they already got it. And potential customers.
Especially those that requested information.
And just how much is this whole program going to cost? One thing at a
time - first you have to get used to seeing the news items, in your
own business, as they are planned and executed. You can keep your
eyes out for the news as you begin to assemble your best possible list.
